The Annual Meeting of the Innovation for Change Initiative, involving seven countries of the Central Asian region, was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from Jan 28-30th, 2019.  Innovation for Change (I4C) is a global network of people and organizations who want to connect, partner and learn together to defend and strengthen civic space and overcome restrictions to our basic freedoms of assembly, association and speech.

This year, the annual meeting schedule involved 2.5 full days, and was organized among representatives of the Civil Society Organizations of the Central Asian region countries, involving Afghanistan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Representing Mongolia, IRIM’s CEO Batsugar Ts., consultant Nyamkhuu Ts. and researcher Khaliunbat B. attended the meeting and exchanged their ideas, shared experiences in research methods, and how to use efficiently cost-effective tools and quantitative strategies.
