Is equitable participation of men and women in environmental decision making and benefits ensured in the current situation of Mongolia ?
IRIM started a new research project in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to provide overview the current situation of gender equality in the environmental sector in terms of promotion of equitable participation of men and women in activities, decision making processes and distribution of benefits. The project team will analyze relevant legal documents comparing with international best practices and develop a policy brief. Results of the gender assessment will contribute to improving further development of the Gender Strategy Action Plan of Mongolia.
