International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group (WBG) Annual meeting is taking place in Washington, DC, between 9-15th of October 2017.

This year annual meeting is bringing together 12000 participants, such as central bankers, ministers of finance and development, parliamentarians, private sector executives, representatives from civil society organizations and academics, to discuss issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and aid effectiveness.

During these days number thematic discussions and seminars, regional briefings, press conferences, and many other events focused on the global economy, international development, the world's financial system, inclusive growth, civic engagement and many development issues.

This year, IRIM Operations Director Batsugar Tsedendamba is participating in the Annual Meetings through the IMF Civil Society (CSO) Fellowship Program.
