Fieldwork associated with the Survey was undertaken during 26 November to 9 December, focussing on six provinces (Arkhangai, Bulgan, Khentii, Orkhon, Selenge and Tov) and the capital Ulaanbaatar. The Survey was subsequently extended to include attention to Western and Gobi RMCs in general.
The Survey consisted of:
- the collection of primary data (by means of 10 questionnaires - directed to nine particular groups ranging from unemployed to TVET managers – including one specifically related to Good Practices, and key informant interviews), and
- the collection of secondary data.
Ultimately, the fieldwork yielded:
- 1,212 completed questionnaires,
- 43 KIIs, and
- 141 documents (secondary data)
The questionnaires and KIIs in particular, provided about 34,000 answers to be analysed, among which were respondents’ proposals of 332 Good Practices.
