In 2020, the Independent Research Institute of Mongolia (IRIM) has successfully implemented a project funded by Give2Asia, a US based nonprofit organization, with distributing food support packages to vulnerable households who were facing food shortages due to COVID 19 pandemic situation in a second time. Within the first-time project, IRIM distributed food packages to 200 vulnerable households living in Songinokhairkhan and Nalaikh districts of Ulaanbaatar, Uvs, Sukhbaatar, and Selenge provinces between August and September 2020.
This time, we conducted training workshops on healthy diet and nutrition and distributed food packages to 160 vulnerable households living in Songinokhairkhan and Nalaikh districts of Ulaanbaatar, and in Zuunmod city of Tov province.
