ANNUAL RECEPTION 2024 WAS ORGANIZED SUCCESSFULLY.

IRIM has successfully organized ‘Annual Reception 2024’ hosted by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and IRIM President Dr. Bekhbat Khasbazar on 27 November 2024. Held annually since 2015, the reception serves as a platform to foster collaboration and engagement between the key stakeholders and raise awareness on important issues and topics.

IRIM’s president Dr. Bekhbat Khasbazar gave a welcome note and IRIM’s Executive Director, Minjirmaa Namjinbaatar, delivered the keynote presentation under the name of “Towards Progressive Climate Action.”

The presentation highlighted the contributions, experiences, and impacts of key stakeholders in Mongolia's Climate Commitment, addressing major challenges and emphasizing the need for cross-sectoral collaboration, including the active participation of the private sector and civil society organizations, as environmental issues cannot be solved by one sector solely.

At the end of the presentation, IRIM recommended the initiative for a National Volunteer Partnership, continuing their earlier initiative, the Community of Practice on Climate Resilient Development.
