IRIM successfully held ‘Annual Reception 2023’ under the auspices of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and IRIM President Dr Bekhbat Khasbazar on 23 November 2023. The reception has been organized since 2015.  

This year's event centered around the theme of Climate Resilient Development. Collaboratively, researchers from IRIM and professors from Griffith University delivered key presentations on enhancing the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Mongolia against climate challenges.  

Concluding the reception, we launched our initiative to create a "Community of Practice" that will involve experts and researchers who have a profession and passion for Climate Resilient Development. As the first step of the initiative, the Toolkit for developing "Climate Response Plan" for SMEs in Mongolia developed by the IRIM was presented and handed over to the guests. 

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all our guests, honored ambassadors, representatives of international and government organizations, and consultants for their active participation and valuable ideas exchanged during the event. We would like to express our special gratitude to Associate Professor Rob Hales, Dr. Dhara Shah from Griffith University, and Professor Tapan Sarker from the University of Southern Queensland for their effort to prepare and jointly discuss the key presentations.
